TIM ADEKOLA - PRESIDENT
Tim Adekola is the founder and President of Kings Safety Consulting Ltd. With over 20 years of experience in project management and safety administration, Tim’s expertise in several finished projects spans from processing plant & heavy industrial construction, mining operations, and pipeline to oil field operations. Tim’s experience portfolio includes an8-year as an HSE Director with PLH Group Inc., a 4-year as an Assistant Manager – HSE Manager and Advisor Worley Parsons, a 4-years as HSE Project Coordinator with United Safety, and several HSE roles at Spectra Energy, Suncor Energy, and Chicago Bridge & Iron.
Mr. Adekola has been involved in several keystones projects across Canada and the United States, including the Shell Athabasca Oil Sands Development (AOSD) Expansion project–(the construction of mining and extraction facilities at Jackpine Mine and expansion of Froth Treatment Facilities and Tank Farm at existing Muskeg River), Spectra Energy North Gas Processing Facility Expansion project, and Potash Corp Rocanville Expansion project, Mosaic Far-Field Pipeline project, and Alberta Products Pipe Line’s Replacement Pipeline Project – Mainline Pipeline Construction with over $248 M budget cost.
Mr. Adekola holds an MSc degree in Occupational Health and Safety – Environmental focus from the Columbia Southern University, United States of America, and a Bachelor of Arts from St. Mary’s University, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Tim also holds an Advanced Diploma as well as a Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety through the University of New Brunswick in addition to a Heavy Equipment Technician Certificate from the Motive-Action Training Foundation, Calgary, Alberta. Furthermore, Tim holds a valid National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) from designation with the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA) and a Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC). Tim is an active member of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering, American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA), and Alberta Association for Safety Partnerships (AASP). Qualifications: B.Eng (Mechanical Engineering); M.A.Sc (Oil and Gas Engineering) and PhD – Candidate (Oil and Gas Engineering).
